End of Iranian Medical Capacity Fair in Sulaimaneyah, Iraq
The First Islamic Republic of Irans Scientific and Educational Capacities Fair of the Medical Sciences Universities, on Wednesday 28 August 2019, at a ceremony attended by the Consul General of the Islamic Republic, Governor of Sulaimaneyah, the Representative of the Minister of Science of the Kurdistan Region, a number of Sulaimaneyah University Heads was opened at highcrest Hotel in Sulaimaneyah.
The fair, which continued until friday, received a significant welcome from families at the opening ceremony, and the local media reflected on their scientific capabilities in interviews with participating university officials.
The Consul General and the board of medical sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran also meet with the Governor of Sulaimaneyah and discussed ways to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region especially Sulaimaniyah, including exchange student and academic cooperation. They also discussed health tourism and facilitating dispatches of Kurdish patients to treatment centers in Iran.
Dr. Saeed Shams, director of International Affairs of the Qom University of Medical Sciences was attended in this fair.
