The concept of educating in medical sciences requires a close connection between students and health care centers and hospitals. This connection make the students pass about half of their academic courses at teaching hospitals.

Students of nursing, midwifery, operating room and anesthesia gain a considerable amount of their knowledge as apprentices in hospital sections. Thats why graduates in these majors are able to immediately take part in hospital activities and medical services without passing any special training.

Currently under the supervision of Qom University of Medical Sciences are 7 teaching hospitals where students in different majors receive clinical trainings.
