QOM UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Dr. Saeed Shams -the university's director of international affairs- said: Following previous actions by this administration to bring Qom University of Medical Sciences into international ranking systems, this university is now ranked 92^nd in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2023 among 928 institutions from 31 Asian countries. It is also the first time that Qom University of Medical Sciences is ranked 9^th among 65 Iranian institutions.

Regarding the THE Asia University Rankings, he added that it has 13 performance indicators similar to the THE World University Rankings within the framework of some items including teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

Tsinghua University and Peking University in China took the first and second positions in the THE Asia University Rankings 2023 for the fourth consecutive year. Besides, four Chinese universities are ranked in the top 10 Asian universities, compared to the last three years.

According to this report, Sharif University of Technology ranks first among Iranian universities and ranks 64^th in Asia. Qom University of Medical Sciences is also ranked 92^nd in Asia and 9^th nationally.

In the end, Dr. Saeed Shams said that Qom University of Medical Sciences has been listed in three international ranking indicators of Times Higher Education, i.e. Impact Rankings 2022, World University Rankings 2023 and Asia University Rankings 2023. He congratulated the university president, faculty members, staff, and students on this great achievement.
